Tell me about the new Luggage Glove

Having made excellent developments with luggage security and identification with the original design, we decided to improve the protective aspect of the Luggage Glove. After much trawling around textile factories, we found a fantastic “3D mesh” fabric that offers a lot of strength whilst remaining elastic, ends up being lighter than the original and most importantly, offers a cushioning effect – it really has to be felt to be believed.

The next steps involved being able to join this new material together whilst retaining our locking mechanism functionality. Finally, we wanted to spruce it up the old design a bit so we’ve improved some identification with a new badge, highly-visible lining in silver, red and yellow and given the logo a total brand overhaul.

The packaging is also simplified – a new stuff sack that can even be taken along on your journey an used as a shoe sack or old clothes container when not being used to pack the Luggage Glove away.

An obvious issue has been the higher price of the article due to our exchange rate but funnily enough, had we continued with the older design, that would have been even MORE expensive.

What we have tried to do is improve the value of our product significantly whilst offering the same attributes like security, identification and protection, all covered by an international patent. We think we have achieved this and hope our customers feel the same.

Why do I need a luggage glove?

For the security, protection and easier identification of your luggage. It is designed to give you peace-of-mind when you travel.

What type of locking systems are available?

We offer 3 fastening mechanisms on the Luggage Glove, two of which have built in 3 dial combination lock. In addition, one of these locks is designed for travel to the USA where strict TSA travel laws are in force.

What colour combinations are available?

There are currently 4 different colour options available across the range – Black/Black, Black/Red, Navy/Polka Dot and Black/Clear window panel.

What different types of personalization are available?

Luggage Glove comes with a business card sleeve on the back panel as well as an identification block on the front to write your name on.

What guarantee does your company offer?

A 12 month's guarantee against manufacturing defects. Please note that this does not extend to normal wear and tear during use or damage from your carrier.

How do I know what size Luggage Glove will fit my trolley case?

The best thing to do is measure the height of your trolley or spinner. The following guide should point you to the correct size:

Extra Small: 50cm-55cm (carry-on size)
Small: 58cm – 63cm
Medium: 64cm – 70cm
Large: 70cm – 75cm
Extra Large: 75cm +

What does your warranty cover?

Our 12 month warranty will cover manufacturing defects such as loose stitching, broken locks or such. Damage or defects as a result of travel or from your carrier are unfortunately not covered – these claims need to be addressed by the relevant company. We will do our best to assist with repair and / or replacement along the guidelines of the Consumer Protection Act. We believe that all issues can be addressed fairly within the limitations experienced with travel.
